Powering the Next Frontier of Banking Infrastructure in Zambia
First Capital Bank, in partnership with BongoHive, invites Zambia’s most promising fintech startups to participate in the First Capital Bank Fintech Pitch Day 2026—a highly curated platform designed to unlock strategic banking partnerships and equity investment opportunities.
The programme is built for post-MVP fintechs ready to collaborate with a leading regional bank to integrate, scale, and strengthen Zambia’s financial services ecosystem. Selected startups will gain direct access to banking infrastructure, executive decision-makers, and equity capital to accelerate their growth.
We are seeking the next generation of fintech leaders who can complement and extend First Capital Bank’s digital and financial infrastructure while delivering innovative, compliant, and scalable solutions.
The Fintech Pitch Day is designed to bridge the gap between agile fintech innovation and robust banking systems. Selected startups will benefit from:
Strategic Collaboration
Opportunities to explore infrastructure integration and co-creation with First Capital Bank, enabling scalability and long-term partnership potential.
Equity Investment
Compete for direct equity investment tickets ranging from USD 20,000 to USD 50,000, subject to due diligence and strategic alignment.
Executive Exposure
Pitch directly to First Capital Bank’s executive leadership and innovation decision-makers actively seeking fintech partners.
Pitch & Investment Readiness Support
Shortlisted startups will receive tailored pitch deck refinement and coaching from BongoHive’s expert consultants to ensure clarity, traction storytelling, and investor readiness.
The programme follows a focused, high-impact three-stage process:
1. Recruitment & Selection
Up to 10 high-potential fintech startups will be selected based on traction, strategic fit, and alignment with the Bank’s innovation priorities.
2. Founder Preparation
Shortlisted founders will undergo targeted pitch refinement to sharpen their value proposition, market narrative, and partnership use case.
3. Pitch Day
A live, high-stakes Pitch Day where selected startups deliver a 5-minute pitch, followed by an in-depth Q&A session with First Capital Bank’s evaluation panel.
This programme is exclusively designed for fintechs ready for a professional banking partnership. To apply, your startup must meet the following requirements:

You must be post-MVP with demonstrable market traction, including a minimum of three months of consistent revenue. Ideation-stage or pre-revenue startups are not eligible.

Investment Intent
You must be actively seeking equity financing and open to formal due diligence and equity participation in your cap table.
